Refund policy

**Return Policy**


You have the right to return items within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt. If more than 14 calendar days have passed since you received your purchase, we cannot offer an exchange or refund.

Only unused items in the same condition as when you received them are eligible for return. The item must also be returned in its original packaging.

Certain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines. We also do not accept returns of sanitary or hygiene products, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Other non-returnable items include:

- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Fresh products such as food
- Some health and personal hygiene products

To process your return, we need a receipt or proof of purchase.

Do not return your purchase to the manufacturer.

In certain cases, only a partial refund may be issued:

- Books that are visibly used
- CDs, DVDs, videotapes, software, games, cassettes, or vinyl records with opened packaging
- Items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or missing parts not caused by us
- Items returned after the 14 calendar-day period from the date of receipt

**Refunds (if applicable)**


After receiving and inspecting the returned items, we will email you a confirmation of receipt. We will also inform you whether your refund has been approved or denied.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed and automatically credited to your credit card or original payment method within a certain number of days.

**Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)**


If you have not received your refund yet, first check your bank account.

Then, contact your credit card issuer, as it may take some time for the refund to appear.

If that is not the issue, contact your bank. Often, processing a refund takes time.

**Sale Items (if applicable)**


Refunds cannot be issued for sale items.

**Exchanges (if applicable)**


We only replace defective or damaged items. If you want to exchange an item for the same one, please email info@kattenhoek.com and send the item to Belgium.

**Gifts**


For items specifically bought as gifts and sent directly to you, you will receive credit for the value of the returned item. We will send you a gift card once we have received the returned item.

If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or if the giver received the item first and then gave it to you, we will refund the item to the giver, who will be notified that you have returned it.

**Shipping**


To return an item, you must send it to Belgium.

Return shipping costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable. When you receive a refund, the shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

The time it takes for a replacement item to reach you depends on your location.

If you are returning an item worth more than €25, consider using a shipping service with tracking or insurance.

We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
